Another great model is the Chicago Santa Fe.  It is a crossover that was revamped for the 2010 model year, getting new exterior features and powertrains.   The new Theta-4 engine takes the place of the 2.7-liter V-6 engine in the 2009 model and reduces fuel usage by 17%.  Exterior wise, Hyundai offered some new color choices for the 2010 models, put on new front and rear bumpers and wheels, to name a few.

This basic model will start at just under 19K, providing a 2.4-liter Theta II four-cylinder engine.  Down the road, a bigger four engine will be available, for those power seeking drivers!

Other features can also be found on this newly designed crossover.  One area that Hyundai is focusing on is a more fluid design.  The grille on the Tucson will be in a hexagon shape.  I wish this was a design I could have found on Chicago Hyundai used cars when I was shopping for a pre-owned Santa Fe.  Also, the crossover will be bigger, providing more leg and head room, and plenty of cargo storing space.  This is a great feature also found in the Chicago Santa Fe.

Some other features include a sunroof, rear view camera to assist with parking, and leather interior seating.  What is also very nice when traveling with others is the dual-zone climate control.  This will help keep everyone more and comfortable and happy during a long trip.  Note that these are options that would bump up the price a bit from the base of $19K.
